Inaugurated in June 1968 by a group of keen Civil War enthusiasts the Association has continued to develop and evolve into its current format. It is a family orientated organisation of people from all walks of life, all interested in the events that created history 140 years ago (1861-1865).
As a military based society our members are expected to participate in ALL things military. This is not just the battle or skirmish scenarios. They are properly trained to handle the weapons & equipment of the period using the correct drill and instruction manuals; take part in military camp life and act out scenarios when the public visits the camp.
