Military Odyssey is the largest multi period re-enactment in the world. Over 70 other groups took part this year, representing over 2500 re-enactors. That’s the biggest contingent at this event so far.

Our Achievement.
Best Group of Show 19th Century.
In the 19th Century category we had some very stiff opposition. This included, Regiment of Foot 1815 (42nd Highland Regiment), 24th Regiment of Foot, 1st and 2nd Battalion (1879 Group), Victorian British Infantry (The Diehard Company), 19th Century Westerners (The Wyoming Wild Bunch), and lots more smaller groups that put on first class displays.

Well what an achievement, to go up to the rostrum to get this award representing not only SOSKAN but all young re-enactors, he is a credit to us all.
I remember young Geoffrey when he first came along in 2002, at the age of 9 years. I remember him as very well spoken, and courteous young man, always willing to help.
Very well done Geoffrey, from everyone in the Southern Skirmish Association.
