The event is a small multi period event that is held on the site of the ECW battle of Cheriton, including ECW, Napoleonics, ACW, WWII & mediaevals. The event is being organised by the Battle of Cheriton Project Limited in partnership with the Royal British Legion. See the event information for more details.

Access and Egress
The site address is Scrubbs Farm, Dark Lane, Bishop’s Sutton, Alresford, Hampshire SO24 0HR. Members will have access to the site from midday on Friday 27th June and need to have vacated the site by noon on Monday 30th June.
Along the A31 to the Ropley roundabout. Turn onto B3047 and enter Bishop’s Sutton. Turn left just after the Ship Inn, then fork immediately left into Scrubbs Lane, follow the lane up the hill.
Go straight on, past the reservoir on your right, then turn right following event signage into the car park field. Follow the fence line along the top of the field then turn right into the showground field. Do not enter the site from the Cheriton direction as the angle of the turn into the car park field will be impossible.
Please unload cars them remove them as soon as possible to the dedicated car park, which is back through the public car park field and through the gate on the left. When leaving follow car park exit signs out and you have to turn right towards Cheriton. Follow road for ½ mile to a T-Junction. Turn right to get back to Alresford or left for the A272 if heading east.
There is a complete ban on vehicular movement from 10.00hrs until the show closes on both Saturday and Sunday (17.00hrs) for insurance purposes.
Non-Authentic (Plastic) camping
A dedicated area will be available on the main campsite for Medieval, Napoleonic, ACW and WWII members. Turn right at top of the hill into Dark Lane following Non-Authentic Camp/SK directional arrows to the main camp and present identification to confirm you are bonefide members. Please note there as a one-way system with a separate exit. On leaving exit campsite and turn right then left at the monument. This takes you back to the A31 Ropley roundabout.
The post code is SO24 0HR. There will be AA Event signage from the A31.
Day trippers and late arrivals will need to park in the allocated parking area for the duration of the day.
The show is open from 10.30hrs until 17.00hrs, both Saturday and Sunday. The Authentic camp is open and fully manned during these times.
The overall event is under the jurisdiction of Hampshire Constabulary. The Event Fire Officer, Simon Howell (firstname.lastname@example.org ) is the sole liaison with the Emergency Services and is responsible for licensing the site. All black powder must be stored within the main magazine, situated on the main campsite. Advanced liaison with Mr. Simon Howell will be required to ensure procedures of storage, issue and return for all re-enactment groups comply with the standards agreed in advance with Hampshire Constabulary.
